- Students join only if they are in that grade/section (via parent link).
- Session is recorded automatically.
- Parents watch recordings, check attendance, use AI Q&A.
Online School Workflow
- Admin creates rooms (each room = one course).
- Admin creates teachers and assigns them to rooms.
- Admin creates parents and students.
- Admin enrolls each student in one or more rooms (courses).
- Teacher starts a session for a specific room.
- Students enrolled in that room join via parent link.

When to Choose Each Type
Choose Physical School if:
- Your school primarily teaches in person.
- You need to organise classes by grade level and section (e.g., “Grade 5 – Section A”).
- You want to record classes mainly for absent students or teacher self‑review.
- You occasionally run hybrid classes (some students remote).
- You have an existing academic structure (grades, sections) you want to mirror.
Choose Online School if:
- Your school is fully remote (no physical classroom).
- You organise learning by courses, not by grades/sections.
- You need students to be enrolled in multiple courses simultaneously.
- You want to embed EazyClassroom into your own website or app via API.
- You run a tutoring company, test prep academy, or virtual high school.
Can You Switch Between Types?
Not directly. Your school type is set during the signup wizard and determines which features are shown in the dashboard. If you need to change:
- Contact support – we may be able to migrate your data.
- Alternatively, create a new account with the correct type and manually transfer data (not recommended for large schools).
We recommend choosing carefully based on your current and near‑future needs.
Mixed Mode (Advanced)
Some schools operate a mixed mode: they use grade/section structure for core classes but also offer optional courses (rooms) that cut across sections. EazyClassroom supports this partially:
- Core classes: use grade/section‑based sessions.
- Optional courses: create separate rooms and manually enroll students (by sharing links).
This is not fully automated but works for small to medium implementations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a physical school use rooms (courses) as well?
Yes. You are not limited to grade/section sessions. You can also create rooms for after‑school clubs, test prep, or parent meetings.
Can an online school use grades and sections?
No. The grades/sections feature is only available when you select Physical School during signup. Online schools use the rooms‑only model.
Which type is better for a tutoring centre?
Online School – because tutoring centres usually organise by course/subject, not by grade/section. Students often take multiple courses.
Which type is better for a K‑12 private school?
Physical School – because you need grade and section structure to mirror your existing classes. The hybrid feature also supports occasional remote days.
Can parents see all recordings for all their children?
Yes, in both types. The parent dashboard lists all children, and for each child, recordings from their assigned classes (by grade/section or by room).
