Parent Portal Guide
As a parent, EazyClassroom gives you a single dashboard to manage your children’s education. You can track which classes they attended, watch recorded lessons, and even ask an AI assistant questions about specific classes – all from one place.
1. Log In to Your Parent Account
You receive your login credentials from your child’s school administrator. If you signed up independently, use the username and password you created.
- Go to https://app.eazyclassroom.net/signin.php
- Select Parent as your role.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Click Sign In.
First login tip: If you were added by a school admin, you may be asked to reset your password. Check your email for a welcome message.
2. Parent Dashboard Overview
After logging in, you see the Parent Dashboard. It shows:
- A list of your children (students) with their names and recent activity.
- Quick access to recent class recordings for each child.
- AI question usage (how many questions remaining this month).
- Notifications about upcoming classes or new recordings.
The left sidebar gives you access to:

3. Manage Your Children
View Student Details
- Go to My Children from the sidebar.
- You’ll see a card for each student showing:
- Name and Age
- Assigned teacher (if any)
- Total AI questions used / available this month
- Subscription status (Free or Paid)
Add a New Student
If your school allows parents to add their own children:
- Click Add Student.
- Enter:
- Student name
- Age
- Language
- Grade (if your school uses grades and sections)
- Teacher (select from a dropdown of available teachers)
- Choose Account type: Free or Paid (requires subscription).
- Click Save.
Note: Adding a student may require admin approval. The student will appear in your dashboard once approved.
Remove a Student
If a child is no longer in your care, you can request removal via the My Children page. Click the … menu next to the student and select Request Removal. An admin will process the request.
4. Monitor Class Participation
For each student, you can see which classes they have attended.
- From the dashboard, click on a student’s name.
- A timeline shows:
- Upcoming classes (if the teacher has scheduled them – future feature).
- Recent classes with date, teacher name, and duration.
- Attendance status – whether the student joined, left early, or was absent.
You can also view detailed logs:
- Join time and leave time.
- Total talk time (if the teacher enabled participation tracking).
- Actions taken (e.g., raised hand, shared screen – limited data).
5. Watch Recordings
Every class your child attends is automatically recorded (unless the teacher’s plan disables recording – but on most plans it’s always on).
View Recordings for a Specific Student
- Go to Recordings in the sidebar.
- Use the filter to select a specific child.
- You’ll see a list of recordings with:
- Class name (e.g., “Math Grade 10 – Algebra”).
- Teacher name.
- Date and time.
- Duration.
- AI processed icon if Eazy AI is enabled.
- Click Play to watch the recording in a new tab.
Playback Features
- Full video, audio, screen sharing, and whiteboard activity.
- Seek bar to jump to any point.
- Chat replay – see all public chat messages during the class (if chat was recorded).
Tip: Recordings are stored according to your school’s plan. Free plan keeps recordings for 3 days; paid plans keep them for 6 months.
6. Use AI Question‑Answering (Eazy AI)
If your school has purchased the Eazy AI add‑on, you can ask questions about any processed class recording. The AI answers based on the lesson content, slides, and chat history.
Ask a Question
- Go to Recordings and select a class that has the “AI Processed” badge.
- Click the Ask AI button.
- Type your question (e.g., “What was the formula for the area of a circle?”).
- The AI will respond within a few seconds.
- You can ask follow‑up questions in the same chat thread.
Question Quota
- Each student has a monthly quota of AI questions (default 10).
- The quota is shared among all your children? Actually, each student has their own quota. As a parent, you see the total for each child.
- When a student’s quota is exhausted, you can purchase additional AI question packs from the Purchase page.
Example Questions
- “What homework was assigned in today’s class?”
- “Can you explain the main point about photosynthesis again?”
- “Why did the teacher say that answer was wrong?”
- “What was the example used to explain fractions?”
The AI will answer using the recording transcript and slides. If the answer is not in the lesson, it may say so or provide general knowledge (depending on your school’s settings).
7. Purchase Add‑ons
If your child is on a Free account, you may need to purchase a subscription or additional AI questions.
Buy AI Question Packs
- Go to Purchase in the sidebar.
- Select the child who needs more questions.
- Choose a pack (e.g., 10 questions for $1, 50 questions for $4 – actual pricing set by admin).
- Click Purchase.
- You will be redirected to PayPro’s secure checkout.
- After payment, the questions are added to the child’s account instantly.
Upgrade to Paid Student Account
If your child’s school offers a paid tier with more features (unlimited questions, longer recording access), you can upgrade:
- Go to Purchase.
- Select the child.
- Choose Paid Student Subscription.
- Complete the payment. The subscription recurs monthly until cancelled.
Note: You can cancel recurring subscriptions at any time from your Profile page.
8. Profile & Settings
- Change your password – Go to Profile → Change Password.
- Update email or name – Edit your contact information.
- Notification preferences – Choose to receive email alerts when new recordings are available for your children or when AI answers are ready.
9. Frequently Asked Questions (Parents)
My child is not showing up in the list. Why?
- The student may not yet be assigned to you. Contact your school admin.
- If you added the student yourself, it may be pending approval.
Can I watch a recording on my phone?
Yes. The playback works on any modern browser. For a better experience, install the PWA (Progressive Web App) – you will be prompted when visiting the site on mobile.
How do I know if a class has AI processing?
Look for the AI Processed badge in the recordings list. If it’s not there, the class may still be processing (can take up to 10 minutes) or your school has not enabled Eazy AI.
I asked a question but the AI didn’t understand. What should I do?
Rephrase your question. If it still fails, the lesson might not have covered the topic. You can also send a message to the teacher via your school’s communication channel.
Can I delete a recording?
No. Only admins can delete recordings. If you believe a recording should be removed (privacy concerns), contact your school admin.
My child’s teacher is not responding to messages. Can I use the AI instead?
The AI answers factual questions about the lesson content. For personal matters or grade disputes, you still need to contact the teacher directly.
