Teacher Quick Start

Welcome to EazyClassroom! As a teacher, you have access to powerful tools for live instruction, recording, and AI‑powered analytics. This guide will get you up and running in minutes.

1. Log In to Your Account

You receive your login credentials from your school’s administrator. If you signed up as a teacher independently, use the username and password you created.

  1. Go to https://app.eazyclassroom.net/signin.php
  2. Select Teacher as your role.
  3. Enter your Username and Password.
  4. Click Sign In.

First login tip: If you were added by an admin, you may be asked to reset your password. Check your email for a welcome message.

2. Explore Your Dashboard

After logging in, you land on the Teacher Dashboard. Here you can:

  • See upcoming classes (based on your assigned rooms or personal schedule).
  • View recent recordings and AI insights.
  • Access quick actions: Start a new class, Join a room, or View recordings.

The left sidebar gives you access to:

Menu ItemPurpose
HomeDashboard overview
RoomsList of rooms you have access to (personal room + shared rooms)
RecordingsAll your past class recordings with AI analysis (if enabled)
AI ChatSee questions students/parents asked about your classes
ProfileUpdate your name, email, or password

3. Start a Live Class

There are two ways to start a class:

Option A: Use Your Personal Room

Every teacher gets a personal room automatically. The room URL is your username (e.g., https://app.eazyclassroom.net/room/username).

  1. From the dashboard, click Start Class under your personal room.
  2. The session begins immediately – you are the moderator.
  3. Share the join link with students. They do not need an account to join as viewers.

Option B: Use a Shared Room (Created by Admin)

If your admin created a dedicated room (e.g., “Math Grade 10”), you can start a class from that room:

  1. Go to Rooms from the sidebar.
  2. Find the room you want to use.
  3. Click Start Session.
  4. The session begins; all participants join using the room’s fixed URL.

Note: Starting a session from a shared room may require the room’s moderator password (provided by the admin).

4. During the Class – Moderator Tools

As the moderator (teacher), you have full control:

  • Mute/Unmute participants – Click the microphone icon next to a student’s name.
  • Eject a student – Remove disruptive participants (they can rejoin with the same link unless banned).
  • Share screen – Click the Share Screen button and choose a window or tab.
  • Whiteboard – Use the built‑in whiteboard for real‑time drawing and annotations.
  • Chat – Send public messages to everyone or private messages to individual students.
  • Record the session – Recording is automatic and cannot be stopped by you or students. This ensures every class is saved for review.

Participant List

The participant panel shows:

  • Who is currently in the class.
  • Who is speaking.
  • Who has raised their hand (you can lower hands).

Polls and Quizzes (if enabled)

If your school plan includes polling, you can create live multiple‑choice questions. Students see them on their screens and responses are displayed in real time.

5. End the Class

When you finish the lesson:

  1. Click the End Meeting button (usually in the bottom‑right corner).
  2. Confirm that you want to end the session for everyone.
  3. The recording is automatically saved and will appear in Recordings within a few minutes (longer for longer classes).

Important: Do not simply close the browser tab – always use the End Meeting button. This ensures proper recording finalisation.

6. Review Recordings & AI Insights

After a class ends, the recording appears in your Recordings list.

View a Recording

  1. Go to Recordings in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Play icon next to the recording you want to watch.
  3. A new tab opens with the playback URL. You can watch the full video, audio, screen share, and whiteboard activity.

AI Analysis (if Eazy AI is enabled)

If your school has purchased the Eazy AI add‑on, each processed recording shows a View AI Summary button. Click it to see:

  • Overall summary – What was taught, key takeaways.
  • Engagement Score – How engaged students were (0‑100).
  • Professionalism Score – Feedback on your delivery.
  • Tajweed Quality Score (for Quran teachers).
  • Teacher Mistake Pickup – Potential errors flagged.
  • Student Participation Score – Who spoke and how much.
  • Off‑Topic Conversations – Time‑stamped segments that drifted from the topic.

Use these insights to improve future classes. You can also share the summary with your admin.

7. Answer Student Questions via AI Chat

Students and parents can ask questions about a specific lesson using the AI chat feature. You can see all questions asked about your classes:

  1. Go to AI Chat in the sidebar.
  2. You’ll see a list of questions (grouped by class).
  3. The AI’s answer is shown below each question. You can add your own comment or correct the AI if needed.

The AI answers based on the recording content and your school’s custom prompts. This saves you time from answering repetitive questions.

8. Profile & Settings

  • Change your password – Go to Profile → Change Password. Enter your current password and the new one.
  • Update your name or email – In Profile, edit your full name or email address. Changes require admin approval if your account was created by an admin.
  • Notification preferences (coming soon) – Opt in to receive email alerts when new recordings are ready or when students ask AI questions.

9. Frequently Asked Questions (Teachers)

Can I pause or stop the recording?

No. Recording is automatic and unstoppable. This ensures a complete record for students who missed the class and for school administration.

My students cannot join. What should I do?

  • Ensure you have started the session (the room must be “active”).
  • Share the correct join URL (the same as your personal room URL or the shared room URL).
  • Check that the maximum participants limit has not been reached (default 50, may be lower on free plans).

How do I remove a disruptive student?

In the participant list, find the student’s name and click the Eject icon (usually a “door” or “X”). The student will be disconnected. They can rejoin with the same link, so you may need to temporarily change the room password (if it’s a shared room).

Why is the AI summary not showing?

Processing takes a few minutes after the class ends. If it’s been over 10 minutes, check that your school has an active Eazy AI subscription and that the admin has configured the Gemini API key correctly. You can also manually trigger analysis from the recording list (if permitted by your admin).

Can I schedule a class in advance?

Currently, you cannot schedule sessions from the teacher dashboard. This feature is available via the Academy API. Contact your admin if you need scheduled sessions.

What happens if my internet disconnects during class?

The recording continues on the server. You can rejoin using the same link (as a moderator) as long as the session is still running. If the session ends because no moderator is present, you may need to start a new session.
